Privacy policy
Effective
Pomme is a focus timer for iPhone and Apple Watch, made by Javier Díaz Gómez. The short version of this policy: Pomme collects no data at all.
What Pomme collects
Nothing. Pomme has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. It includes no third-party SDKs and has no servers of its own, so nothing you do in the app is sent to me.
Where your data lives
Your focus history, labels and presets are stored on your device. If you're signed in to iCloud, they sync between your devices through your own private iCloud (Apple's CloudKit private database). I can't see any of it. Apple's privacy policy covers iCloud.
Purchases
Pomme Pro is a one-time purchase made through Apple (StoreKit). Apple handles the payment, and I never receive your payment details.
Permissions
Pomme asks to schedule alarms and send notifications. It uses them only to ring when a focus or a break ends.
Widgets, Live Activity and Apple Watch
The widgets, the Live Activity and the Apple Watch app read the same data, on your own devices, through a shared App Group.
Exporting your history
You can export your history as a CSV file. You choose where it goes from the share sheet; Pomme doesn't send it anywhere on its own.
Deleting your data
Deleting Pomme removes its data from your device. To remove what's stored in iCloud, open the Settings app, tap your name, then iCloud > Manage Storage.
Children
Pomme isn't directed at children, and it collects nothing from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page with a new date.
